Funding for new equipment at a play area took a step forward after a parish council agreed to consider it at their next meeting.
Kings Langley Parish Council will discuss whether Primrose Hill play area will receive improvements after continued pressure from Alex Michaels, Liberal Democrat councillor for Gade Valley.
Cllr Michaels has been presenting the case for a playground revamp for almost two years now.
He said "This play area is in need of an update. There has been an increase in homes and children in recent years, but there is no other play area nearby.
"I'm hoping that both the Parish Council and Three Rivers will be able to find funding to improve he equipment and replace the surfacing."
The next leisure committee meeting will be held on October 17 at the Abbots Langley Parish Council offices in Langley Road, starting at 7.30pm. The meeting is open to the public.
