HUNDREDS of young runners took part this year in the Ealing Mini Mile around Lammas Park.
With five separate age category races and a new Family Mini Mile, the event had the highest turnout of to date. Independent Catholic girls’ school St Augustine’s Priory returned as sponsor.
This year, the course records were broken in the 12-16 age category. Marcus West, of Ealing Southall and Middlesex AC, won the boys’ race in a time 5min 13sec and Ellie Osmond, of South London Harriers, won the girls’ race in 5.31.
