BRENT Valley Golf Course in Hanwell hopes to inspire people to take part in a 24-hour activity challenge to raise funds for those affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.

Money raised will go towards projects to support the Grenfell community.

Everyone Active, which operates the course for Ealing Council, will be running 24-hour activity challenges at all their centres in the South East for members and guests.

The company’s  Westway Sports & Fitness Centre acted as one of the main support centres for families during the disaster.

The centre was closed for six weeks and provided those affected with shelter, food, clothing and advice. Staff from Ealing went to Westway to offer their support.

On Wednesday, October 24 at noon, there will be a 24-hour putting challenge at Brent Valley. All ages and abilities are welcome. You are asked to donate a minimum of £5.

Following a month of fund-raising, Everyone Active will be providing sports and activity bursaries and opportunities for schools affected by the disaster.
