THE magic of Christmas is coming to intu Uxbridge shopping centre - and this year there’s even snow!

Celebrations begin on Sunday, November 18, with the Uxbridge Christmas Parade and lights switch-on in Uxbridge town centre.

From 1pm, there will be a number of activities at into, before the countdown begins.

The parade begins at 3.30pm around the town centre, with stilt walkers, entertainers and choirs, followed by a light show at 5pm outside the station.

From Saturday November 24, intu is creating four festive zones around the shopping centre  right up until Christmas Eve. Visit the Snow Zone, Tree Zone, the Gingerbread House and Christmas Workshop, where there will be a snow display every 15 minutes.

Children can collect a sticker at each zone before heading to Elf Passport Control at the Christmas Workshop in the food piazza near Zizzis and Pizza Express.

There, they can get to meet and have a selfie with Santa and receive a free gift. They can also make Christmas cards, do colouring and make 3D snowflakes to hang on the Christmas tree.

Until Friday, December 14, the Christmas Experience will be open on Saturdays 11am-7pm and Sundays 11am-5pm.

From Saturday, December 15, it will be open on weekdays, too, from 11am-7pm. (until 5pm on Sunday 23rd and 3pm on Christmas Eve).

It costs just £5 (or £1 for the under-twos) and all profits go to HALO Children’s Foundation – intu Uxbridge’s nominated charity partner.

Late-night shopping will begin on Monday, November 26, 9.30am-8pm on weekdays, 9am-8pm on Saturdays, and 11am-5pm on Sundays and on Christmas Eve.
