Poppies, Poetry and Peace
All are welcome to join West Watford History Group for an afternoon of contemplation to remember all those lost in conflict. There will be 100 lights representing the 100 years that have passed since 1918. Information and images will be on display and poetry readings will commence at 4pm.

The Neil Diamond Story

Shakuntala
Subrang Arts returns with a brand-new adaptation of Kalidas' classic Indian poem Shakuntala. Shakuntala faces a challenging life: abandoned in a forest as a baby, then forgotten by her husband, King Dushyanta, due to a curse placed upon her. Facing the prospect of raising her son alone, she learns to gain the strength she needs and raises her son Bharat to become the first emperor of India. This spectacular dance drama in Hindi with English subtitles, features a cast of over 40 performers, who will bring the endearing characters alive and cast a spell of rare classical charm.
