Hundreds gathered in High Wycombe town centre last night to kick-start the festive season as the Christmas lights were officially switched on.
Crowds enjoyed performances from local performers and dancers, including Castle Street Dance Studios, Wycombe Youth Action, Razzamatazz, JP Academy and the Wycombe Community Gospel Choir, on the main stage before the countdown to the switch-on began.
Town mayor, Cllr Sarfaraz Khan Raja and Wycombe District Council chairman, Tony Green, were joined by Dan Budd, Robbie Williams tribute act, to officially press the button and turn on the lights.
Meanwhile Santa and his reindeer were on hand to delight the crowds, while youngsters also enjoyed fairground rides as revellers browsed the festive stalls.
