POSTAL staff at Hanwell were visited by Southall MP Virendra Sharma, who was able to see preparations for delivery of the Christmas post.

Mr Sharma was shown around by Delivery Office Manager Anna Gustaw and was introduced to the postmen and women who are pulling out all the stops over the busy festive period.

He said: “It was great to meet the team and thank them for the extraordinary lengths they go to ensure Christmas parcels and cards are delivered to loved ones on time.”

Customers do not need to travel to a Royal Mail delivery office to pick up parcels if they can’t or do not want to.
