HEATHROW is asking neighbouring communities to help shape the plans for future airspace, not only for the existing two runways but also as part of the proposed expansion.
An eight-week consultation will run until March 4 and people will have a chance to examine and respond to proposals on three key areas.
Airspace change for an expanded Heathrow: factors it should consider in different geographic areas when designing future flight paths
Airspace change to make better use of existing runways: factors for it to consider when designing new flight paths for some arrivals
Future operations for an expanded Heathrow: how it would operate three runways, including managing noise, respite through runway and airspace alternation, directional preference and night flights.

There will be more than 30 consultation events across boroughs when people will be able to ask questions and provide feedback.
A full list of dates, times and locations can be found at http://afo.heathrowconsultation.com
The consultation documents and feedback forms are available online, as well as at a number of document inspection locations. Responses may also be submitted via post.
The airport's first consultation on expansion was held from January to March last year when topics included a new runway as well as options to manage growth.
