Two people arrested in connection with an incident where a woman was hit by a car in a supermarket car park have been released on bail.
Just before 2pm on December 23, police were called to a report of a car being in collision with several people in the Tesco car park in Rickmansworth.
The ambulance service attended the incident and a woman was taken to Watford General Hospital after sustaining a serious injury. She is now out of hospital and recovering at home.
Another person, a man, sustained slight injuries and also received hospital treatment.
Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed last Friday that a 45-year-old man from Edgware was arrested on suspicion of theft and dangerous driving.
Police initially reported a 32-year-old woman from Borehamwood was arrested but have now updated to say she is a 47-year-old woman from Edgware.
She was arrested on suspicion of GBH, theft and dangerous driving.
Both have been bailed until February 2 and enquiries continue.
