A fire in a loft prompted a massive response from fire fighters in the area.
Five engines were called to the scene at 10.11am in Halifax Close in Leavesden after a fire broke out in the loft of a detached house.
Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue says damage was limited to the top floor.
No one was injured.
The fire was brought under control at 12.08pm.
