AN educational exhibit by a team of Northwood radiologists on developments in advanced prostate cancer imaging has scooped a major accolade.
Dr Amish Lakhani, lead consultant for training at Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, led on production of a poster called Next Generation Imaging in Advanced Prostate Cancer: An Overview.
It was picked out for a magna cum laude award at the Radiological Society of North America conference in Chicago, attended by more than 50,000 radiologists, oncologists and linked professionals.
Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is an independent medical charity based at Mount Vernon Hospital.
