PARENTS are being invited to take their children to free workshops at Pets at Home Ruislip this February half-term.
The focus will be on caring for animals such as gerbils, hamsters and rabbits, teaching children how rewarding these pets can be.
Workshops will run every day at 11.30am, as part of the My Pet Pals Activity Club. Bookings can be made at petsathome.com/petworkshops.
Olivia-Lee McAlpine, store manager at Ruislip, said: “Small furries like gerbils are active, sociable and low maintenance, making them an ideal first pet for kids.”
