A pupil and U10 footballer has beaten hundreds of other players in a storytelling competition.
Westbrook Hay Year 5 pupil, William Scott beat over 250 other Academy players from Premier League football clubs with a story about an old football.
The subject set by the Premier League was ‘Goals’ and required the children to write football themed stories.
Premier League Sports Commentator, Emma Saunders ran the informative and fun-filled assembly and presented William with his very own trophy.
Dan Freedman, author of the ‘Jamie Johnson’ series of children’s books also delivered a talk to the children when William received his reward explaining how he became an author.
