THE teaching kitchens and TASTE Restaurant at West London College were opened up to some of the best chefs in the industry for a fund-raising lunch.
Hospitality and Catering students served a four-course meal for 70 guests while being coached by four of London’s most highly-skilled chefs, Tom Booton on the starter, Galton Blackiston on fish course, Dipna Anand on main and Jesse Dunford Wood on dessert.
Tom Booton said: “I would happily welcome the students into my kitchen based on their performance today.”
The event was in aid of the Chefs’ Forum Educational Foundation CIC, which helps disadvantaged young people to enter the hospitality business, by linking them up with employers.
