SHE’S doing pretty well at 67! Rosalind Austin, from Northwood, is reaping the benefit after making a critical lifestyle decision 30 years ago.

After having her first child in 1979, she wanted to be slim and wear smart clothes as she had always had a love of fashion.

She joined WW, then known as Weight Watchers, and in a year had achieved her target of losing three stone.

Fast forward 30 years and Ros still attends a WW Wellness Workshop in Eastcote with wellness coach Beenish Choudhry every week.

She said: “My career as a financial adviser involved meeting new people every day and I wanted to make a good impression. Being slim gave me the confidence to go out and face the world.

“I attended classes before or after work, no matter what was going on in my life .I had to get on the scales and keep track of what I was doing.

“I now go swimming every week and I walk a lot. Though I do now have various health issues because I’m older, I am keeping to my goal weight. That’s one issue I’m absolutely in control of.”
