A NEW housing development on the former RAF Uxbridge site has its first residents.

With half of its first phase of apartments already leased, Pinnpoint is attracting young professionals, many of whom work in London.

PinnPoint has 207 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, for those looking to rent rather than buy.

Vivian Carvalho and Eduardo Russo, both 39, are some of the first to move in. Previously in Wembley, the couple wanted to move closer to Eduardo’s technology job in Uxbridge, which is a seven-minute electric scooter ride away.

Vivian said: “Renting was the ideal choice for us. We moved to England from Brazil in November 2017 and wanted to experience life in the UK without making the permanent investment and commitment that comes with buying a home.”

PinnPoint has its own outside space, but also has access to a 40-acre public park alongside the River Pinn.
