Ready to serve you: Lidl staff with the mayor and mayoress
A NEW Lidl store is now in business at into Uxbridge shopping centre following a ribbon-cutting last week by the Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr John Morgan.
Tempted by offers and discounts, shoppers started to queue from 7am to be the first to step inside.
“There has been huge anticipation and excitement in the build-up,” said Laurie Taylor, general manager at intu Uxbridge.
The centre has recently welcomed Superdry and the Miller’s Tap as new outlets.
