A lucky young girl won the chance of a lifetime to interview comedy star and writer David Walliams.
Liberty, eight, from Rickmansworth achieved the special opportunity in February to spend time with the performer and children's author, who is known for his television appearances on Britain’s Got Talent and Little Britain.
Liberty, who was first told about the Radio Times competition by her grandmother, was required to submit a question that she would like to ask the star and was picked as one of the eleven winners.
She said: “I felt amazed and shocked when I heard the news I jumped in the air. I was surprised how tall he was and yet so friendly. He even like my top with hearts on, it was an amazing experience.”

The day included a book reading and each child was able to ask him a question. Liberty’s favourite moment was when he wrote a dedication to her in his latest book and gave it to her as a present.
Her father Richard said: “We were absolutely thrilled for her. It was the experience of a lifetime which none of us will forget.”
