Detectives investigating a burglary have released an e-fit of a suspect they would like to identify.

It happened in Green Lane, Croxley Green, at 4.50pm on Wednesday, March 27.

The victim, a man in his 90s, was with his daughter in the living room of his home when they heard a noise.

The daughter went to investigate and came across a man looking through some coats that were hung in the hallway.

She challenged the man before pushing him out of the unlocked side door, which it is believed he used to enter the property. He ran off in the direction of The Green.

When he had gone, the daughter checked her father’s coat pocket and realised his wallet had been taken.

The e-fit suggests the man is white, with a beard, and was wearing a hat of some kind.
