Students have been celebrating as £12,000 is raised by their college for charity.

On Tuesday April 30, Immanuel College in Bushey held its bi-annual whole-school assembly, at which they presented £9,000 to this year’s nominated charities – Bliss, Chai Cancer Care and Amit Frisch Beit Hayeled.

This was followed by a “thanks” to all students for their support in raising approximately £12,000 this year through events such as the Chanukah Fair, Open Mic Night and the Tuck Shop.

During the year, funds have also been raised for other charities such as Kisharon and Sierra Leone Poverty Relief.
