A woman has been arrested in relation to a dog attack.
The owner of a pug was walking her dog before 7.30am on Tuesday (May 20) on First Avenue, Garston, when they were attacked by two unaccompanied tan-coloured Staffordshire bull terriers.
The dogs were not wearing leads or collars.
They bit the pug, leaving it suffering from puncture wounds.
The owner had to be sent to hospital for treatment after being bitten on the hand and arm.
A 35-year-old woman from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.
Officers are appealing for people who have information or are witnesses to contact 101 quoting reference 41/45084/19.
