PAUL Strickland Scanner Centre, based at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, beat stiff competition to be crowned Charity of the Year.
The annual Asian Voice Charity Awards recognise smaller charities and aim to reward those that think big and solve the most pressing social issues of our time.
Claire Strickland, CEO of the centre, said: “As a charity that strives to be a leader in the fight against cancer, we’re very proud to be recognised in this way.”
