EALING Broadway will host its fifth annual Buskathon on the weekend of June 7-9.

Musicians from across west London will join forces and raise money for charities in the area.

Hosted in conjunction with the Hanwell Hootie organisers, it will feature back-to-back live music performers from 3-7pm on Friday, noon-7pm on Saturday and noon-5pm on Sunday in the centre’s Town Square.

Having raised £1,450 for charity last year, Ealing Broadway and the Hanwell Hootie are hoping to increase it to £2,000 this time for The Log Cabin, Ealing Soup Kitchen and Ealing Mencap.

Andrew Rollings, centre director, said: “The annual Buskathon is one of my favourite times of year at Ealing Broadway and is always a real show of community spirit from performers and shoppers alike.

“We’re always on the look out for more local talent to join us, so anyone who wants to perform should get in touch.”
