An important road which has been shut for more than two-and-a-half weeks will remain closed until at least tomorrow.
Redhall Lane has been closed near Chandlers Cross since May 20 for cable installation work.
Hertfordshire County Council initially gave UK Power Networks a permit until June 7 to complete the work but this has been extended to tomorrow (Tuesday).
The closure has led to long diversions along the narrow country lanes for drivers looking to get to Croxley Green or in the other direction towards the A41.
Deadman's Ash Lane closure at the junction of Bottom Lane
A closure in Deadman's Ash Lane near Sarratt at the same time has left drivers with further problems.
