Good morning.

Here is your morning travel and weather update for the final day of the working week.

Traffic:

Roads are looking clearer than usual this morning. Although heavy traffic is disrupting journeys along the A4178 heading towards Vicarage Road Stadium. It is slowly moving, but travel time through the area could be longer than usual.

There is also heavy traffic queuing on the A1 (Barnet Way) heading southbound towards apex corner.

Also expect slow moving traffic on the A41 heading southbound at M25 J20 (Hemel Hempstead/Watford). Small delays are expected but normal traffic conditions should resume in due course.

There is also heavy traffic in Woodford on the A406 heading towards Redbridge and small delays are to be expected.

Small congestion is also affecting traffic on the A1000 High Street (Barnet), although is starting to move at the A1081 in St Albans Road.

There is also queuing traffic on the A5 Edgware Road (Burnt Oak Broadway) at Deansbrook Road at the Territorial Army traffic lights – and small delays are expected.

Tube:

There is currently no disruption on any of the lines at the moment, with good service running across the Tube.

Weather:

Spells of sunshine are expected throughout the morning, with highs of 25c expected today. But showers are expected to develop in the afternoon and low cloud could be around for most of the day.
