THE University of West London has been voted the top modern university in London for overall satisfaction in this year’s National Student Survey.

The Government-backed survey asks final-year students to give feedback on everything from teaching to what’s on campus.

Prof Peter John, the vice chancellor, said: “By listening to our students we are able to continually improve our services, deliver a great student experience and ensure everyone graduates career-ready.”

Jacob Pepper, president of the UWL Students’ Union, said: "The student voice is at the heart of everything we do.”

Modern universities are defined as higher education institutions that were granted university status in, and subsequent to, 1992.
