PEOPLE in Ealing can find out more about a major project to replace ageing gas mains with new pipes in South Ealing Road.
The first section will start on Monday, July 29, and, to enable work to be carried out, temporary four-way traffic lights will be used at the junction with Popes Lane.
This phase will last for six weeks, coinciding with the school summer holidays, when the roads are generally quieter.
Work will then shift further north to the junction with Church Lane.

Temporary two-way traffic lights will be deployed and some side roads temporarily closed. Work should be completed by December.
All local shops and businesses will remain open as usual throughout the work.
Cadent is working closely with Ealing Council to plan the work.
A public exhibition is being held for people to meet the project team and find out more about the plans. It will be at St Stephens House, 62 Little Ealing Lane, W5 4EA on Monday, July 22, 3-7pm.
