CHILDREN in Ealing will have plenty to write about the summer holidays this year.
It’s all thanks to John Lyon’s Charity, which has committed £375,000 from its School Holiday Activity Fund to support young people in nine London boroughs.
Ealing will receive £41,545 for projects this summer.

One of the groups being supported in Ealing are the London Tigers.
From their base in Spikes Bridge Park, Southall, they run a thriving community hub, including a youth club, homework club, accredited training courses and sports activities.
This summer, London Tigers will run a summer programme for five days a week, offering athletics, football, cricket, tug of war and more.
John Lyon’s Charity has awarded a grant of £4,000 towards the cost of the project.
