A HAYES boy is one of 5,000 Scouts from the UK joining 40,000 others at the World Jamboree in West Virginia.

Aaron Dutton, 16, is meeting 45,000 Scouts from nearly every country, sharing skills while enjoying a picturesque part of North America.

He has been zip lining, climbing and white water rafting as a relief from the heat of West Virginia. He’s also had the opportunity to make friends from around the world.

Aaron said: “I really didn’t know what to expect from this adventure and was taken aback by how big it is!”
