STAFF at the Uxbridge branch of storage firm Space Station spent £168.08 on three trolleys full of shopping at Tesco in Yiewsley – and then promptly gave it all away.
It was an initiative to help the Yiewsley and West Drayton Food Bank after the firm collected donations from customers and did their own fund-raising.
A second spending spree is imminent with further donations!
