FOR National Lazy Day today (10), Dogs Trust West London is celebrating with some of its laziest dogs.
Lurchers and greyhounds love a short burst of energy but then they love to spend the rest of the day lounging on a comfy sofa, earning them the nickname of the 45mph couch potato.
Among those looking for rehoming is Presley, a bouncy dog, full of energy and love.

He could potentially live with another tolerant and energetic dog, but this is not essential. Presley knows the command "sit" but that’s all for now.
Richard Moore, centre manager in Harvil Road, Harefield, said: “It ‘s such a shame that our lurchers and greyhounds have a reputation that they are a handful and need lots of exercise when it is actually the complete opposite.”
If you are interested in rehoming a dog, call the centre on 01895 453930.
