THE new Housing Secretary, Robert Jenrick, visited Acton Gardens to learn about regeneration of the 52-acre South Acton Estate.
Accompanied by Rupa Huq, Ealing Central and Acton MP, he was taken on a tour, followed by meetings with residents, community groups and apprentices working on site.
Since 2011, Countryside and L&Q have been working on the 18-year project, which will provide 3,463 homes, of which at least 1,250 will be socially rented.
