A teenage boy was reportedly stabbed in the head in a Chesham takeaway restaurant on Wednesday. 

The 17-year-old was allegedly attacked by a group of others while in Peri Peri Original in Market Square on September 18. 

It is believed to have happened between 7.30pm and 8pm.

The boy was taken to hospital and has since been discharged. 

Three males - two aged 17 and one 18-year-old - all from Chesham, have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 GBH with intent.

All three have been released on police bail until October 16.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Mather, of Aylesbury police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident during which a 17-year-old boy received a stab wound requiring hospital treatment.

“It happened in a public area where I believe there is a realistic chance that it was witnessed by some people."
