A driver seen travelling at 20mph on the M25 blew more than five times the legal limit in a breathalyser test.
Police came across a red Nissan Micra on the motorway near near j21 for the M1 at around 9pm last night.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit tweeted that they attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver "continued straddling lanes narrowly missing an HGV".
The Micra came to a stop in lane 1 and the driver "fell out of their seat".

When a breath test was carried out on the driver, the reading came back as 190 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35mg.
- A 45 year old woman from Watford has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. She remains in police custody at this time.
