Community effort: staff in Horton Road donated part of their working week
A SELF-storage business has raised more than £600 for Yiewsley and West Drayton Food Bank.
It follows an initiative by Space Station, in Horton Road, West Drayton, to encourage staff to donate one per cent of their working time to fund-raising.
They hosted bake sales, organised stalls at fetes and spent time volunteering at a chosen charity, all as part of their paid working day.
Staff also donated three trolleys of food bought from a Tesco store.
The firm donates £5 to charity for every Trust Pilot review received and also sells items of furniture donated by customers.
