Police are appealing for help after a car was broken into and had various items stolen.

A grey BMW X5 was broken into with multiple items missing, including a wallet that contained cash and a prepaid GoHenry card, and two pairs of headphones, between September 10 at 8:30am and September 11 at 7:45am on Moor Lane, Rickmansworth.

The victim was notified after the theft that the prepaid card was used in a Mcdonald’s branch in London and the card was later used in the Harrow branch of Tesco.

Officers have released an image of a man that they would like to identify, as he may be able to assist their investigation.

PCSO Alan Waller, from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We hope to talk to the man seen in the images as we believe that he was in the area at the time of the incident, and that he may have information that could assist our enquiries.

“Please get in touch if you recognise him.”
