An armed robber pushed a staff member to the floor at a shop last night.
One man entered McColl's newsagents in Cassiobury Drive, Watford, at around 9.10pm on Sunday.
They were holding what police are currently describing as two bladed weapons and they threatened an employee, pushing them to the ground - but thankfully they were not injured, police say.
The robber got away with money and a handbag.
Police, including a dog unit, flooded the area and launched a manhunt for the suspect with help from the helicopter above.
But the search was unsuccessful and the armed robber remains on the run.
Detectives are carrying out enquiries and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
