TRAFFIC disruption should come to an end in a selection of roads today as roadworks are completed.
Bar Lane, in Astley Bridge, has been closed since last Wednesday.
The road has been closed at the junction with Belmont Road, while Cadent carry out works to replace an old gas main.
It is set to reopen tomorrow as the works continue onto its next phase.
Wigan Road, in Westhoughton, has also been hit with a high level of traffic disruption over the past two weeks.
Temporary traffic lights have been operating during off-peak hours since Monday September 23.
Electricity North West have been carrying out electricity works but these are set to come to an end today.
Works to replace a gully near Logistics North will also be completed today.
A lane has been closed in Salford Road since last Friday, while the highways department of Bolton Council carried out the works.
All dates are estimated. Work can finish early or late due to weather or other factors.
