A luxury hotel is putting on a dazzling display of activities this autumn.
Guests at the Grove Hotel in Chandlers Cross will be able to get in touch with nature by booking one of the hawking walks for an intimate experience with these impressive birds of prey. Guided by an expert falconer guests will enjoy a stroll through the woodland as the hawks glide above, and even have the opportunity for one to land on their glove. The walk will be followed by a breath-taking falconry display on the hotel’s presentation lawn.
Other autumn adventures include exhilarating Segway experiences through the woods with the support of a fully qualified instructor, a woodland bat walk, as well as getting up close and personal with snakes and creepy crawlies at one of the hotel’s Jungle Juniors sessions. For chilled out days, The Grove has a full activities guide that includes giant games and arts and crafts, as well as spooky Halloween-themed activities.
To celebrate Fireworks Night a spectacular display for guests and diners will take place on Saturday, November 2. As darkness descends and the clock strikes 8pm, hotel residents and restaurant guests are invited to wrap up warm and head out to the terrace. There will be marshmallow-topped hot chocolates and mulled cider available to warm up cold hands.
Families will also have the choice of three nights for the price of night or 50% off their second night for any family stay booked between Sunday, October 20, and Sunday, November 3, which will include breakfast in the refurbished The Glasshouse restaurant and access to the award-winning Sequoia spa.
