A GROUP of nurseries, providing care for 128 children in Iver and St John’s Road, Uxbridge, have been sold.
Premier Nurseries was founded by Jag and Shushma Kumar, who originally practiced as solicitors, struggled to find care for their own children and embarked on a journey of opening their own nurseries in 1991.
Over the past 28 years, they have established a strong reputation and were voted in the top three nurseries in Hillingdon in a poll.
Premier Nurseries was acquired by The Old Station nursery group, which brings it to 11 nurseries in the UK.
Sarah Steel, managing director, said: “Jag and Shushma have worked hard to build an enviable reputation at both nurseries and we look to take this forward.”
Christie & Co advised on the sale.
