HANWELL Zoo in Brent Lodge Park has installed a 12ft sculpture called Message In A Bottle.
Made from plastic, all of the items used (including more than 2,000 bottles) have been collected from the bins and bushes around the park in the past month.
The sculpture shows how much plastic we waste and the impact we're all having on our planet.
Message In A Bottle is the centre piece of the zoo’s Waste Week, when visitors are invited to learn about pongy poo, plastic pollution and why porcupines collect spooky bones.

Young guests can take part in a Trail of Waste to try to win membership for a year.
Senior Curator Jim Gregory said: "It has made us look at our own waste harder than ever before.
“We have further minimised our plastic use, contacted suppliers concerning use of unnecessary plastic in packaging and we really hope to inspire our guests to make positive behaviour changes."
Hanwell Zoo, known locally as the Bunny Park is open seven days a week, 10am-4pm (last entry 3.30). Waste Week at Hanwell Zoo runs until Sunday (27),
