A CHRISTMAS spectacular is coming to Uxbridge town centre as the countdown begins to the lights switch-on.
Celebrations will begin on Saturday, November 16, as the Tinsel Town Christmas market opens its doors in the High Street, plus there will be craft activities and balloon modelling around the Love Uxbridge Christmas stage from 3-7pm.
From 5-6pm, bands and choirs will perform before, at 6, Santa and his elves arrive and the lights go on, accompanied by fireworks.

A laser show will light up every evening until December 25, projected on to the Market House!
Inside intu Uxbridge, decorations will be themed around the 12 Days of Christmas.
The much-loved grotto and Christmas workshop will return to the Piazza from Saturday, November 30.
Tickets will be £5 (or £3 for under twos), which includes a Playmobil gift, a Christmas workbook and art activities. All proceeds from the grotto will go to Halo Children’s Foundation, intu’s charity of the year.
intu’s Christmas hours will start from December 9, when you can shop until 8pm.
