Notcutts Booker in Marlow have revealed that a special guest will be visiting them on Sunday, November 17.

The garden centre will have Father Christmas visit the Clay Lane venue where children will be able to greet him and receive presents.

The man in the red suit will arrive at the garden centre via horse and sleigh and will be accompanied with elves.

Daniel Jones, interim general manager at Notcutts Booker said: “Christmas is a magical time of year at Notcutts and, while our garden centre is glittering with lights and decorations, we also have a host of festive activities for the whole family to enjoy all season.

“Starting with Santa’s big arrival on November 17, the free event is a fantastic way to get into the Christmas spirit.

"We hope lots of local families will head down to Notcutts to celebrate the magic with us.”

Father Christmas’ arrival at Notcutts Booker coincides with the garden centre’s brand-new festive menu to celebrate the establishment’s newly refurbished restaurant.

The menu will include traditional classics such as roast turkey with all the trimmings, as well as new dishes such as a vegan sweet potato and vegetable tart with polenta pastry, or a chocolate orange tiramisu.

For a lighter meal, there will also be a range of seasonal sweet treats, a festive afternoon tea for two or the new hot turkey festive sandwich available for people to try.
