A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after an attempted knife robbery.
The victim, a young person, was approached by someone carrying a small knife on Manland Way, Harpenden at around 3.30pm on November 8.
He was punched during the incident.
A teenager has now been arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a knife.
St Albans Safer Neighbourhood Team Inspector Andy Wiseman said: “A 15-year-old boy from St Albans has been arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a knife. He has been bailed until December 6.
“We will not tolerate knife crime and thankfully incidents like this are unusual in Harpenden."
