AN appeal has been made for more funding and sponsors – so that dementia friendly screenings of classic films can continue.
Age UK for Blackburn with Darwen shared pictures of its latest screening – Summer Holiday – but said it needed funding to show more films.
The charity now hopes local businesses will come forward to sponsor further shows.
A spokesman said: "Packed audience for today's dementia friendly cinema screening of Summer Holiday.
"We need funding to continue to show more films. Could your business sponsor a screening?"
