THOSE anxiously waiting to see Oswestry's mayor dive out of an aeroplane will now have to wait until the new year.
Mayor Councillor John Price's charity skydive will now take place in February after it has yet again been postponed because of bad weather.
The skydive was due to go ahead on Saturday at Tilstock Airfield, but – in true British style – has been 'rained off', leaving Cllr Price feeling disappointed.
"It's not the wind this time, it's the rain," said Cllr Price.
"I am really sad I'm not going but it's one of those things.
"Disappointing, but we can't help the weather."
The new date for the skydive is to be confirmed.
