Landmark: the Met is open again in Windsor Street
DRINKERS in Uxbridge are enjoying the refurbished Metropolitan Tavern in Windsor Street following a £250,000 makeover.
The Met has an eye on the sports fans with bookable booths and individual screens for those that prefer fewer distractions.
The drinks menu features a range of premium draught beer and interchangeable cask ales, while the menu features pub classics. Diners can even design their own burgers.
Nick Warring, general manager, said: “The new pub is completely different to the former site.”
