TWO dance students have won places at a prestigious school.
Gregor Mcintosh and Abigail Mann, from Burnley College Sixth Form, beat competition from top young dancers in the UK to win a place at the Leeds Conservatoire, the Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
The Leeds dance school is one of the UK’s leading dance establishments.
Abigail Mann, 19, from Rawtenstall, said: “I love to dance and live in the moment as I am dancing.
“I’m really excited about studying at Leeds and exploring all aspects of dance although my career goal is to become a choreographer."
Gregor 18, from Slaidburn, said: “When I first visited Burnley College at an open event, I knew immediately it was the right place for me."
