THE annual Give A Gift campaign has officially launched at into Uxbridge shopping centre, where visitors are invited to donate presents to children in hospital over Christmas.
They will be sent to Hillingdon Hospital’s Peter Pan and Wendy Ward. Though the ward is being refurbished, the gifts will be passed to the temporary paediatric unit where the young patients are currently staying.
Shoppers who wish to donate should head to intu Uxbridge customer information desk, where they can collect a gift tag telling them for what age range they should buy.
Presents must be dropped off – unwrapped – back to the information desk by Monday, December 16.
Laurie Taylor, the centre’s general manager, said: “This is a real feel-good campaign, which we hope lots of shoppers will get involved with.”
