That's because the M25 is crawling both ways through much of our neck of the woods.

Highways England is reporting that flooding and a number of broken down vehicles are causing the delays.

Traffic both ways between j21 for the M1 and j22 for London Colney is slow, particularly anticlockwise.

Highways England has confirmed flooding has closed one lane clockwise between j20 for Kings Langley and j21 for the M1, and there are two lanes closed clockwise at j21 due to a broken down car.

One lane is also blocked on the slip road anticlockwise at j20 due to another broken down car - this is what is causing the extremely heavy traffic from j22.

The M25 is also slow round from j19 to the M4.

The A414 is affected by the M25 queues - both ways between Park Street and London Colney roundabouts, as is the A405 between Tippendell Lane and the Park Street roundabout.

Meanwhile in Watford, it's really bad heading through town down Merton Road and Wiggenhall Road, and on neighbouring streets.
